Booking Show-Up & Conversion Analysis

Morning Altars Teacher Training · Cohorts 5–8 · application & Calendly data

Show-up rate by call time (Pacific)

When the call is scheduled, local Pacific time. Mornings win; the 11 AM dip and late-afternoon fade are real.

Statistically significant: 8–10 AM PT (50%) vs 11 AM–noon PT (39%), p=0.003. Single-hour spikes are noise — trust the morning-vs-midday pattern, not individual bars.

Show-up rate by career

Career is the strongest predictor in the data — a far bigger swing than call time. ★ = statistically significant vs. average.

The key nuance: close rate is far flatter (18–38%) than show rate (38–74%). Career predicts who attends, not who buys. Note Nurse/Medical — worst show rate but a 37% close rate: low attendance, high intent. The lever for them is reminders, not exclusion.
  • Career field is free text, auto-bucketed (~76% classified; "Other" excluded from charts). A retired nurse is counted as Retired (current status over former role).
  • Facebook ad traffic specifically runs ~5–6 points below these blended rates at every slot, but the same rankings hold.
  • Cancellations are excluded from show rate; counting them lowers every rate ~5–10 pts. Reducing cancellations (reminders/confirmations) is the largest single lever.
  • Correlational: once you select or route on these patterns, the applicant pool shifts and rates will drift. Treat cutoffs as hypotheses to monitor.
